K I S S

Yesterday, I photographed Chantel Allyce along Lake Michigan in Chicago, IL. It was after a meeting with a new client and we scoped out the potential location, she changed into wardrobe, and it was perfect. Camera, laptop, and available light. All that was needed.

This reminds me as commercial photographers with tons of gear available, we must remind ourselves to keep it simple. If I would have unloaded all of the gear, we would have missed the perfect light.

I dig this photo. Lighting is nice.

Beautiful picture, Daniel - and you're right, sometimes simple is better...but I truly believe talent has a great deal to do with it, and, well, need I say more?
